We remember how chicken used to taste when we were kids, and its a standard were committed to bringing back. Chicken that is full of flavour, delicious and tender - we're bringing back the best!

All Packington Free Range Chickens roam free on established English pasture, consisting of various grasses and clovers, with strategically placed perches and shelters offering shade, food and water. Its an idyllic setting and one which every Packington Free Range bird experiences. Reared longer, for a great taste, consistently.

Once opened, consume within 2 days.

Cool leftovers to room temperature, refrigerate within 2 hours. Consume within 2 days.

Suitable for freezing on day of purchase. Use within 1 month. Defrost fully before use, do not refreeze once defrosted.

Roast or Air-Fry and serve as a traditional roast for a hearty Sunday lunch or cook with a lemon and herb marinade, serve with salad and new potatoes for a lighter twist.


Cook from chilled. Remove from fridge 30 minutes before cooking ensuring all packaging removed.
Preheat oven: 200C / Fan 180C / Gas Mark 5.
Place the chicken on a roasting tray, season and cook for 20 minutes.
Reduce the temperature to 180C and cook for 30 minutes per kg.
To check the chicken is cooked, insert a skewer into the thickest part of the thigh, if the juices run clear, the chicken is cooked - remove from the oven and rest for 15 minutes. If they run pink, return to the oven for a further 5 minutes and re-test.

We have installed solar panels and use bio-mass boilers to help further reduce our carbon footprint. All of this allows us to continue to farm the land here, in Staffordshire, for generations to come.
